Studio Membership Policies
Soba Studios operates as a private, members-only studio. Access is intentional and designed to preserve a calm, professional, and elevated creative environment for all members.
By participating in Studio Membership, you acknowledge and agree to the following policies.
1. Membership & Booking Policy
Studio access is available exclusively to approved members.
All studio time is scheduled in advance and subject to availability.
Memberships operate on a subscription basis with a 5-hour monthly minimum.
All bookings are non-refundable, but may be transferred or rescheduled with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
Cancellations or changes made within 48 hours of a scheduled session are forfeited.
2. Studio Access & Time Management
Access to the studio is limited strictly to the scheduled booking window.
Early entry or remaining beyond the scheduled time may result in additional charges.
Members are responsible for managing their session time, including setup and breakdown.
3. Responsibility for the Space
Members are expected to treat the studio, equipment, and furnishings with care and respect.
A strict “You Break It, You Buy It” and “Lose It, You Replace It” policy is enforced.
Members are financially responsible for any damage, loss, or misuse occurring during their booking.
Repair or replacement costs will be assessed and charged accordingly.
4. Security & Monitoring
Soba Studios is monitored by security cameras for the protection of the space and its members.
In the event of damage, loss, overstaying, or policy violations, timestamped footage may be reviewed to determine responsibility.
Verified incidents will be charged to the member on file.
5. Cleanliness & Care
The studio must be left in the same condition in which it was found.
A $100 cleaning fee will be applied if the space is left excessively messy, disorganized, or requires additional cleaning.
Members are responsible for removing all personal items and trash at the end of their session.
6. Conduct & Environment
Soba Studios maintains a calm, professional working environment.
Disruptive behavior, misuse of the space, or disrespect toward staff or other members will not be tolerated.
Soba Studios reserves the right to terminate studio access immediately for violations of conduct, without refund.
7. Liability
Soba Studios is not liable for injury, loss, or damage to persons or personal property during studio use.
Members are encouraged to carry appropriate insurance coverage for their work and equipment.
All activities conducted within the studio are the sole responsibility of the member.
8. Noise & Compliance
Members must ensure that their activities do not create excessive noise or disturbances.
All local laws, regulations, and permits applicable to studio use must be followed.
Any illegal activity will result in immediate termination of membership and access.
9. Reservation of Rights
Soba Studios reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate membership or bookings at its discretion.
This includes violations of policies, misuse of the space, or actions that compromise studio standards.
10. Policy Updates
Policies may be updated at any time.
Members are bound by the most current version of the policies in effect at the time of booking.
